In Spain, cyberbullying affects 22% of teenagers. Social media and online messages are the main channels through which this harassment occurs. 60% of young Spaniards who suffer from cyberbullying have not reported it to their parents or teachers. The lack of communication and support can worsen the problem. In Spain, 30% of teenagers who suffer from cyberbullying experience symptoms of anxiety and depression. The impact on their mental health is significant and requires urgent attention.

Cristina’s Photo (synopsis)

This immersive capsule tells the story of Cristina, a high school girl who becomes a victim of cyberbullying when her closest friend shares a nude photo of her with her boyfriend, and he posts it in the class chat. The video shows Cristina’s despair, the bullies, and all the passive and active witnesses who get involved in the case, including adults, to find a way to help students model the right behaviour to solve the situation.
